KAMAZ Training and Service Center Launches in Turkmenistan’s Balkan
The new KAMAZ center has the capacity to service up to ten vehicles a day.

A training and service center for the repair and maintenance of KAMAZ vehicles was opened in Turkmenbashi etrap of Turkmenistan’s western velayat of Balkan on Wednesday.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the opening ceremony of the new building, the country's official media reports.

The construction of the center was launched in accordance with the instruction of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the construction of training and maintenance centers for KAMAZ vehicles in Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats.

The Russian construction company Vozrozhdenie built the new center by order of KAMAZ FTC CORP. LLP. It has the capacity to service up to ten vehicles a day.

Located on an area of 10 thousand square meters, the KAMAZ center has main and auxiliary buildings and structures, including the two-storey building of a training and service center.

The ground floor of the building houses office rooms, a single-level high-ceilinged service station, premises for repairing units, and a car wash. The second floor has offices for the center's specialists, classrooms, cafeteria, resting and other premises.

The territory of the center also has a warehouse, a parking lot for trucks, a parking lot with a canopy for vehicles, an exhibition area for vehicles and a checkpoint.

In 2022, KAMAZ intends to launch the production of special equipment in Turkmenistan. The corresponding project was discussed during the meeting of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the with General Director of KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin in September this year.
