Turkmenistan Delivers Humanitarian Aid to Afghanistan
The humanitarian aid consists of 1,200 tons of cargo for various goods produced in Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan’s humanitarian cargo containing food, textile and household products, and oil products was delivered to neighboring Afghanistan on Tuesday.

The delivery ceremony of the cargo was attended by a representative delegation from Turkmenistan, the Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister Sher Muhammad Abbas Stanikzai, Governor of Herat province Nur Ahmad Islamjar, and other high-ranking officials of Afghanistan, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported on its website.

The humanitarian aid consists of 1,200 tons of various goods produced in Turkmenistan, including textiles and food products, as well as 20 railway tank cars of oil products.

The ceremony concluded with sadaqat in the new mosque in the Akina town, built with the support of the Turkmen side, and in the Turgundi  town.

The delivery of the aid was carried out in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed during the cabinet meeting last Friday.
