Export Trades at Turkmen Exchange For Jan. 24-29: $39 Million
Foreign businesses purchased polypropylene and ECO-93 gasoline produced in Turkmenistan.

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $39 million.

For foreign currency, the Russian businesses purchased polypropylene produced at Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, while the companies based in the UK, Afghanistan and Georgia purchased ECO-93 gasoline of Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.

The Turkish, Azerbaijani and Uzbek businesses purchased cotton yarn, dry extract of licorice root and float sheet glass.

The Turkish and Afghan companies also acquired 757 thousand manats worth of cotton yarn and hand-made carpets.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased portland cement for $210.27 thousand, and petroleum bitumen of Turkmenbashi refinery and hand-made carpets for over 3.165 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 45 transactions last week.
