Political consultations between the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain was held in Manama on Tuesday. The Turkmen delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Berdiniyaz Myatiyev, while the Bahrain's delegation was headed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Deputy Foreign Minister for International Affairs.
The diplomats considered opportunities for expanding cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, including attracting investments, holding business forums, development of partnerships in the oil and gas industry, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in its press release.
They also discussed the expansion of cultural, humanitarian and scientific cooperation. In this regard, an agreement was reached to hold cross cultural days this year.
The Turkmen delegation was also received by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
