The business from Uzbekistan during the Thursday trades at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) made a deal to procure 5,000 tons of urea grade B.
The urea, produced by Marykarbamid plant of Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern, was sold for $442.5 per ton, a decrease of 2.7 percent compared to the previous auction, the SCRMET announced on Friday.
The total amount of transaction for urea export amounted to $2.2 million.
Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $3.2 million.
Established in 1994, the SCRMET is the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
