Uzbekistan Gives 20 Ambulances to Turkmenistan

Uzbekistan presented Turkmenistan with 20 ambulances on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations, the National News Agency of Uzbekistan (UzA) reports.

The ceremony on this occasion was held on Tuesday at the Shavot border customs post between Khorezm region and Dashoguz province of Turkmenistan.

The celebration was attended by state and public figures, honorary elders, the general public and representatives of the two nations.

In accordance with the Resolution of Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed last Friday, the Türkmengaz State Concern, the national gas producing company of Turkmenistan, has supplied a batch of liquefied gas to Uzbekistan free of charge as friendly and fraternal assistance.

Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan were established on February 7, 1993.
