The Specialised exhibition titled "Iran Prože" from the Islamic Republic of Iran opened at the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry building in Ashgabat on Friday.
Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov extended warm congratulations to the participants on the special exhibition's opening, the official Turkmen media reports.
In his congratulatory message, the head of state encouraged the exhibition participants and the Turkmen-Iranian Business Forum to increase bilateral trade, establish new forms of cooperation and implement joint projects in promising areas.
Around 100 Iranian companies operating in construction products, technical and engineering services, hydropower, energy, oil, gas and petrochemicals, education and trade will participate in the three-day event.
The press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan reported that a Turkmen-Iranian business conference is planned within the framework of the event. Members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and business people from the Iranian side are expected to sign several documents.
