The prestigious Muse Gallery in the cultural quarter of Sablon in Brussels launched an exhibition on Wednesday dedicated to the richness of Turkmen heritage. The event, part of the Civilisations Winter Edition, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belgium organized it with the support of the European Central Asian Creative Alliance and the fashion house "Keshde," as reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belgium.
The exhibition presents rare examples of Turkmen art to the European audience, ranging from exquisite jewelry to traditional carpets, showcasing the depth and uniqueness of the national culture.
In his speech at the event, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Belgium, Sapаr Palvanov, emphasized the symbolic role of culture in international relations, noting that the UN has declared 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust. "Culture is a universal language capable of uniting people beyond political and geographical boundaries," the diplomat stated.
The exhibition attracted collectors, diplomats, representatives of European institutions, and art enthusiasts and will run until January 26.
The Civilizations Winter Edition is an annual series of winter exhibitions organized by the Civilizations group. During this period, unique and rare collections are showcased at the MUSE Gallery in one of Brussels' most famous cultural zones, Sablon.
