The trade turnover between Russia and Turkmenistan for January-March 2023 increased by 10.4 percent compared to the same period in 2022, Neytralnyy Turkmenistan newspaper reported on Saturday.

In price terms, the total trade turnover for the reporting period was $386 million. 

According to the report, Russia ranks third in Turkmenistan's total trade turnover.

According to Neytralnyy Turkmenistan, close ties are established between Turkmenistan and Tatarstan, Astrakhan, and Sverdlovsk regions, as well as the city of St. Petersburg.

Turkmenistan's foreign trade turnover in January-March of this year increased by 8.4 percent.
