Owadan Gämi, a private company, harvests 800 kilograms to 1 tonne of lemons daily from its lemon greenhouse.
The collective harvesting is underway in the greenhouse of a private enterprise located in the Gami Ak Gengeshlik of Bugday district of Ahal province, the official Turkmen media reported on Friday.
"About 8,000 lemon trees are growing in our greenhouse, which covers an area of 4.5 hectares, and we get a plentiful harvest," said Hudayberdi Sopyev, head of the department of the private enterprise.
The greenhouse workers plan to harvest 70-72 tonnes of lemons this season.
At present, the greenhouse also cultivates orange trees, with 80 rooted seedlings that have been imported from Türkiye.
