Investors and stakeholders convene at the Global Gateway: Sustainable Transport Connectivity between Central Asia and Europe Forum, scheduled for January 29-30, 2024, in Brussels, Belgium, as announced by the European Commission.

The central focus of the Forum is the presentation of a comprehensive study on sustainable transport corridors linking the European Union (EU) and Central Asia. The ultimate objective is the transformation of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor into a multimodal, modern, competitive, and sustainable route, capable of connecting Europe and Central Asia in 15 days or less.

The forum is not merely about discussions but aims to catalyze real change. It strives to kickstart the process of implementing and coordinating investments along the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor, leveraging specific actions identified in the research.

The event is set to bring together a distinguished assembly of high-level representatives, including those from Central Asian countries, EU Member States, partner nations along the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor, EU Institutions, international and bilateral financial institutions, along with representatives from the private sector and civil society.

For those eager to engage in this pivotal conversation, registration is a prerequisite through the designated website. The deadline for registration is January 10, 2024.
