Starting January 15, 2024, branches of Türkmenulaggözegçilik (Turkmen Traffic Control), under the Türkmenawtoulaglary (Turkmen Road Transport) Agency, will initiate the issuance and processing of permits for foreign countries, facilitating international transportation by cars, as reported by Türkmenawtoulaglary on Thursday.
Aimed at enhancing conditions for road carriers engaged in international transportation, these services will be conducted in units of the Türkmenulaggözegçilik under the Türkmenawtoulaglary agency.
The Türkmenulaggözegçilik is dedicated to streamlining the issuance and processing of permits from foreign countries, ensuring a seamless experience for road carriers. Permits will be issued by the permit and document analysis departments in Ahal province and Ashgabat, while in other regions like Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap, and Mary provinces, road control departments will handle this service. Border checkpoints will also facilitate the issuance and registration of permits for the Republics of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan.
