January: Non-cash Turnover in Turkmenistan Exceeds 973.1M Manats

The total volume of non-cash transactions via bank cards in Turkmenistan surpassed 973.15 million manats in January of the current year, as reported by Bank Habarlary e-magazine, published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.

The overall amount of non-cash payments made through terminals for the corresponding period amounted to over 832.92 million manats.

According to the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, the sum of payments made from January to August through the E-commerce system totaled more than 107.14 million manats, exceeding 1.058 million manats through the Mobile Bank system.

Additionally, the total amount of non-cash payments made through ATMs amounted to over 27.33 million manats and 164,700 manats through the Internet Bank system.

According to the report, over 4.52 million manats of non-cash payments were processed through the Halkbank terminal system.
