Outstanding Credits From Turkmen Banks Exceed 88.4 Billion Manats

As of February 1, 2024, the total amount of outstanding credit funds allocated by Turkmenistan's credit institutions to enterprises, organizations, and individuals in the national currency reached 88,429.12 million manats.

According to data from the Bank Habarlary electronic journal, published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, the total outstanding credit amount as of February 1, 2023, stood at 88,747.55 million manats.

As of February 1, 2024, the outstanding credit amount allocated to state institutions and enterprises amounted to 54,290 million manats. This is compared to the total outstanding credit amount of 57,735 million manats recorded on February 1, 2023.

According to the data, as of February 1, 2024, the total outstanding credit amount allocated to the private sector of the country in the national currency stood at 12,359 million manats. This marks an increase from the total outstanding credit amount of 11,953 million manats reported on February 1, 2023.

Furthermore, the total outstanding credit amount allocated to citizens and entrepreneurs engaged in entrepreneurial activities without forming a legal entity amounted to 21,780 million manats for the reporting period. In comparison, the total outstanding credit amount was 19,060 million manats as of February 1, 2023.

The overall volume of non-cash circulation of bank cards in Turkmenistan exceeded 973 million 153,460 manats in January of the current year.
