A joint laboratory building is set to be constructed for the Research Institutes of Grain Farming, Agriculture, and Cotton Growing under the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan.
In connection with this, the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan has announced a tender for the procurement of laboratory equipment, tools, and accessories, as well as for the design and construction of the joint laboratory building for the Research Institutes of Grain Farming, Cotton Growing, and Agriculture. The tender was published in the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper on Thursday.
To participate in the tender, interested parties must submit an application indicating the full name of the participant, its legal status, country of registration, details, and information on membership in the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
Tender participants must also familiarize themselves with the "Rules for Conducting a Tender for the Selection of Suppliers of Chemicals for the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan" and, after paying the tender fee for each lot, obtain a tender documentation package, as well as lot specifications and technical requirements.
The deadline for submitting tender proposals for all lots is 30 working days from the date of publication of the announcement.
In early November 2023, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution "On the Establishment of Research Institutes of the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan."
According to the Resolution, the Ministry of Agriculture, by dividing the Agricultural Scientific Production Center of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, is to establish subordinate entities in the following order: the Research Institute of Grain Farming, the Research Institute of Agriculture, and the Research Institute of Cotton Growing, and also to prepare and approve the charters of the aforementioned research institutes in the established manner.
