The State Concern Türkmengaz plans to build a new gas purification facility at the gas field Kelleli in Mary province, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan on Tuesday.
The Marygazçykaryş (Mary Gas Extraction) management directive assigned the 2nd specialized division of the Türkmenýöritenebitgazgurnama trust as the general contractor for constructing this facility.
The purpose of constructing this facility is to commercialize the gas extracted from the gas wells at the field and to supply it to the Karakum-Uchadzh-Malay high-pressure gas pipeline.
Experts working at the construction site of the first powerful gas purification facility have completed the construction of auxiliary service buildings. Currently, they are constructing gas pipelines with diameters of 159 and 219 millimeters, separators for the installation, auxiliary equipment, assembly lines, and equipment for the first connection point.
As per expert evaluations, after the commissioning of the new facility, 1 million 100 thousand cubic meters of commercial natural gas will be supplied to the external market daily.
