The capital of Turkmenistan hosted the regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Coordinating Council on Seed Production of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). This traditional event gathered leading agricultural experts from all CIS countries to discuss pressing issues in the development of the agro-industrial complex.

The focus of the meeting was on methods of collecting, storing, and processing grain crops. Given the importance of grain as a staple food product and raw material for various industries, participants explored ways to optimize these processes, as well as ways to improve grain quality and its competitiveness in the global market. Agriculture remains one of the key sectors of the CIS economies.

It is worth noting that the regular meetings of the CIS Intergovernmental Coordinating Council on Seed Production play a vital role in strengthening cooperation in the agricultural sector among Commonwealth countries. Sharing expertise, implementing joint projects, and coordinating actions help to improve agricultural efficiency in the region and ensure the population is provided with high-quality food products.
