Ukrainian Business Journal Features Turkmenistan's Economic Growth

On the eve of the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence, the latest issue of the popular financial and economic weekly "Ukraine Business Review" published an article dedicated to events important for the sustainable economic growth of our country and support for the countries of the region.

The target audience of the All-Ukrainian periodical, including banking and insurance institutions, foreign companies, diplomatic missions and business partners of the publication, is provided with information about the opening and start of construction in Turkmenistan of a number of large infrastructure projects, as well as holding international events.

We are talking about already implemented major projects, including the Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline, a plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas in the Ahal velayat, a gas chemical complex for the production of polyethylene and polypropylene in the Balkan velayat and the Garabogazkarbamid plant, and the opening and start of construction on September 11, 2024 of energy, transport, communications and logistics infrastructure facilities. There are 177-meter railway bridge of the Serhetabat-Turgundi steel highway, laying the foundation of the Şatlyk-1 gas compressor station in the Mary velayat, the start of construction on the border of Turkmenistan and Afghanistan of a section of the TAPI transnational gas pipeline on the Serhetabat-Herat section, called Arkadagyň Ak ýoly, the commissioning of the Nur-el-Jahad power plant in the Afghan province of Herat and other projects.

Based on the words of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the article emphasizes that the main goal is to achieve sustainable economic growth and projects are essential for building up economic, industrial and trade partnerships that will provide access for goods and services to the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the Middle East, in general, to territories and markets that are growing rapidly.

In light of the Investment Forum of Turkmenistan, the International Conference on Attracting High Technologies and Innovations to the Economy of Turkmenistan "HI-TECH Turkmenistan 2024" and specialized exhibitions held on September 10 and 11 this year, it was noted that these events are aimed at strengthening Turkmenistan's economic ties with the world community and clearly demonstrated the prospects for implementing large joint projects in key sectors of the country's economy.

It was mentioned in the article about the adoption in September by the UN General Assembly, on the initiative of Turkmenistan, of the Resolution “United Nations Games”, aimed at creating a solid platform for the implementation of sports diplomacy on the UN platform.
