Turkmenistan has launched a new high-yield well at the Galkynysh gas field, capable of producing up to 2 million cubic meters of gas per day.
Official media of Turkmenistan reported that drilling reached a depth of over 4.4 kilometers, employing advanced digital technologies. Engineers successfully tapped into two productive layers located between 4417-4281 and 4266-4226 meters.
Domestic specialists, including young engineers, carried out all work on the project.
Recognized globally as a super-giant field, Galkynysh continues to play a crucial role in Turkmenistan's energy strategy, which aims to diversify export routes and enhance the country's position in the international energy market.
