The State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) conducted transactions on Wednesday for the purchase of low-sulfur fuel oil totaling $36,925,000, as reported by the SCRMET.
Representatives from business circles in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) purchased the product produced at the facilities of the Türkmennebit State Concern.
UAE traders also acquired handmade carpets and cotton yarn for a total of $192,154.
Local entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene TPP D 30 S and base oil SN-600 for 3,200,000 Turkmen manats for the domestic market.
Founded in 1994, SCRMET serves as the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
