Kyrgyzstan Imports Turkmen Tomatoes Worth $8.9 Million

In the first ten months of 2024, Turkmenistan supplied 15,200 tons of tomatoes worth $8.9 million to Kyrgyzstan. 

This amount represents a 23% increase compared to the same period last year, Turkmenistan's official media reported Monday.

In addition to Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan exported 3,500 tons of tomatoes to Kyrgyzstan, while China sent 722 tons, Iran provided 73.5 tons, Kazakhstan contributed 34 tons, and Türkiye also exported tomatoes.

Last year, the Astrakhan region imported 90 batches of Turkmen tomatoes, totaling over 835 tons, five times more than the previous year.
