Turkmenistan Continues to Develop Partnership With EU

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Belgium, Sapar Palvanov, participated in New Year receptions organized by key European leaders on January 30. He confirmed the country's commitment to expanding cooperation with the European Union and Flanders.

At the reception hosted by the President of the European Commission and the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, the ambassador emphasized Turkmenistan's readiness to deepen cooperation in various sectors, as reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belgium.

Additionally, during a separate reception with the Minister-President of Flanders, Matthias Diependaele, the ambassador confirmed Turkmenistan's intention to strengthen bilateral relations with the region.

These events help Turkmenistan develop diplomatic relations and promote partnerships. The country looks forward to further cooperation with both the EU and Flanders in various fields.

Earlier, ambassadors from Central Asian countries and Mongolia gathered in Brussels with David McAllister, the chairman of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, to discuss key events planned for 2025, including the EU-Central Asia summit in Uzbekistan.
