President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on a working visit to the Balkan region, chaired an extended off-site meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to review preparations for the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), according to Turkmen official media.
The meeting was attended by the Speaker of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of ministries and agencies, and regional governors.
According to the report, the forum is expected to gather heads of state and government from 32 landlocked developing countries, delegates from 47 small island developing states, and representatives of 49 least developed countries. Senior officials from partner nations, the United Nations, and international organizations are also expected to participate.
The session emphasized logistics and transport accessibility. During the conference, additional passenger flights will operate from international airports in Ashgabat, Dashoguz, Mary, Turkmenabat and Kerki to Turkmenbashi.
Special train routes from various regions of the country will be organized as well. Modern transportation, including taxis and buses, will be used to move participants within Avaza.
To ensure a comfortable summer vacation for the public, ongoing improvements are being made to hotels, children’s health centers, cottage complexes, and public areas in Avaza.
Concluding an extended off-site meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the participants good health, family well-being, and continued success in their work.
