In honor of Turkmen Carpet Day, celebrated annually on the last Sunday of May, Abadan Haly, the largest carpet manufacturer in Turkmenistan, held a ceremonial event on May 23, 2025. The celebration took place in Ashgabat with a focus on respect for the company’s traditions and achievements.

As part of the celebration, employees who demonstrated outstanding performance in their work were honored. The factory’s top craftsmen and specialists received commemorative gifts and certificates recognizing their dedication and contributions to production development. Special attention was given to teams that helped implement new technologies and improve product quality.

The celebration emphasized the importance of preserving and developing the national heritage, as well as recognizing the contributions of employees whose efforts enable the company to continue thriving and delivering quality products to customers.

Abadan Haly’s success stems from the use of modern technologies from Belgium and Germany, ensuring precision and high quality in every product. The factory holds ISO certifications, confirming its dedication to producing products of the highest standards.

With a workforce of about 600 employees, the factory plays a vital role in the local economy by providing job opportunities. The combination of traditional carpet weaving techniques and modern innovations allows the company to create carpets that blend Turkmenistan’s cultural heritage with contemporary design trends.

Abadan Haly, established in February 2016, produces high-quality carpets that distinguish themselves from imported counterparts not only for their density and thickness but also for their color stability, elegance, and durability.

Recently, the company introduced a new carpet collection called “Çeper,” featuring original designs and a knot density of 200,000 knots per square meter, demonstrating a high level of craftsmanship and an innovative approach.
