A new high-voltage electrical substation operating at 220, 110, 35, and 10 kilovolts has been commissioned in the Tejen district of Turkmenistan’s Ahal velayat. The facility was built on a nine-hectare site and is equipped with modern equipment that meets international standards.
According to the Watan habarlary news program on Saturday, the substation is equipped with two transformers rated at 125 megavolt-amperes each, as well as two transformers rated at 40 and 25 megavolt-amperes respectively.
The infrastructure is supplemented by three outdoor switchgear units operating at 220, 110, and 35 kilovolts, and one indoor switchgear unit at 10 kilovolts.
During the ceremonial event, automotive equipment was presented on behalf of Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhammedov.
