India, Central Asia Deepen Talks on Trade Routes Expansion
International Conference “India–Central Asia: Connectivity, Security, and Sustainable Partnerships in a Multipolar World,” March 25–26, 2026, New Delhi

India and Central Asian countries — Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan — discussed expanding trade routes and strengthening transport connectivity during the international conference “India–Central Asia: Connectivity, Security, and Sustainable Partnerships in a Multipolar World,” organized by the India-Central Asia Foundation, Dunyo News Agency reported Friday.

The discussions focused on developing transport and logistics corridors and deepening economic cooperation between the regions.

The forum brought together heads of diplomatic missions, representatives of expert and analytical circles, research institutions, and members of the diplomatic corps from Central Asia and India.

Participants also reviewed key areas of cooperation, including security, as well as building sustainable partnerships in the energy, economic and humanitarian spheres.
