Operations at a Warehouse Facility in Turkmenistan

Two warehouse complexes for storing mineral fertilizers are scheduled to begin operations this year in Turkmenistan’s Lebap Province under the Dökünhimiýa production association. The facilities are being built in the Halach and Sayat districts and will have storage capacities of 10,000 and 12,000 tons respectively.

According to Turkmen media reports published Thursday, the development of the country’s chemical industry is proceeding along two tracks: expanding existing production capacities and constructing new industrial facilities.

Construction work is currently underway at the Turkmenabat chemical plant named after SA Niyazov as part of a project to establish a complex capable of producing 350,000 tons of superphosphate and 100,000 tons of ammonium sulfate annually. The introduction of modern equipment and innovative technologies is expected to increase mineral fertilizer output for both domestic use and export markets.

Earlier reports indicated that the new complex at the same plant will implement the Industry 4.0 concept, which envisages the management of chemical processes using artificial intelligence technologies.
