French Company Targets Large-Scale Purchases of Turkmen Urea, Petroleum Products

French company Ste SODIPP International is considering large-scale purchases of Turkmen urea and petroleum products, as well as the creation of a sustainable logistics chain between Turkmenistan and the European market. This was stated by the company’s President, Lommot Thierry, at the “White City Ashgabat 2026” conference on Monday in Ashgabat, according to nCa.

According to the head of the company, Ste SODIPP International has received an official mandate from one of France’s largest fruit and vegetable cooperatives, which is interested in fertilizer supplies from Turkmenistan. As a priority direction, the French business is considering purchases of Turkmen UREA-46.

The company intends to establish a reliable and secure supply chain for chemical products between Turkmenistan and France. To implement the project, Ste SODIPP International is seeking partners among oil refineries for purchases of gasoline and large volumes of fertilizers, as well as logistics companies to organize deliveries between Turkmenistan, Europe, and France.
