China's Jinzhou NEW JCM Machinery Manufacture Co., Ltd., part of the NEW JCM group, has secured a contract to service eight DG-90L2 gas turbines operated by the Turkmengaz State Concern. The work will be carried out at two compressor stations operated by the Dashoguzgazakdyrysh division, the company reported on Thursday.

According to the company, the project includes comprehensive maintenance and the restoration of the operating performance of the eight gas turbines. The contract is one of NEW JCM's largest orders in the gas turbine equipment sector.

NEW JCM won the contract through an international tender. To participate in the project, the company's specialists developed a customized technical solution tailored to the customer's requirements. Representatives of the customer also visited the company's manufacturing facilities in China.

According to NEW JCM, the agreement with Turkmengaz marks an important step in expanding the company's presence in the Central Asian market. At the same time, the company secured a contract to service a 15-megawatt gas turbine for a customer in Kazakhstan.

The company also said it has established a dedicated gas turbine division responsible for manufacturing key components, supplying spare parts and providing maintenance services throughout the equipment's lifecycle. NEW JCM said it plans to continue expanding its projects in Central Asia's energy sector.
