A total 511.698 million manats transactions were concluded last week at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, according to the exchange.
Domestic businesses purchased polypropylene and Portland cement from state concern Türkmennebit, along with licorice root extract, cotton yarn, cotton lint and cleaned cotton spinning waste, for a total exceeding 511.698 million manats.
In foreign currency transactions, business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan bought terry products, cotton fabric, cotton yarn, cotton fiber and raw silk worth more than $4.755 million.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 14 transactions during week.
