In order to actively attract foreign investments to all sectors of the economy and develop a set of measures to stimulate them during the country's transition to modern market relations, the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree ordering the creation of an interdepartmental commission on foreign investments, approving its composition and the Statute on this Commission.
The country's strategy of diversifying the economy, its transition to market relations, the revitalization of business structures, as well as major industry projects and the corresponding legal framework provide ample opportunities for building mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign partners, including in the investment sphere.
