The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan hosted Lubomir Frebort, Chargé d'Affaires at the EU Liaison Office in Turkmenistan, on Wednesday.
The guest was received by the heads and representatives of international and industrial departments, as well as the department of agriculture and agro-industrial complex at the UIET.
Lubomir Frebort was informed about the achievements of Turkmen entrepreneurs, their large projects and export potentials of their enterprises. It was noted that the productive relations between members of the UIET and the European business circles have been expanded in the recent years.
The head of the EU mission showed great interest in the activities carried out by the UIET on digitalization of the economy, in solving social issues and, in particular, on creating new jobs.
During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the possibilities of implementing joint projects, including in the field of industry, agriculture and the agroindustrial complex.
The meeting participants announced their intention to further develop mutually beneficial partnership between the business communities of Turkmenistan and the EU.
