In the Gonbadli gas field, located in northern Iran, 63 million cubic meters of natural gas and gas condensates are produced daily.
According to the Mehr News Agency, Chief Executive of Iranian Central Oilfields Company (ICOC) Seyed Abolhassan Mohammadi revealed the daily production of joint oilfield shared with Turkmenistan at the event which was held on July 6.
Drawing attention to the importance of the company, Mohammadi said that in the Gonbadli gas field operated jointly with Turkmenistan, 63 million cubic meters of natural gas and gas condensates are extracted daily. He also added, this gas field is one of the main sources for the largest gas reservoir in the south of the country.
The Gonbadli gas field is managed jointly by Turkmenistan and Iran on the basis of bilateral contract signed in 2011.
