Balkandokma closed joint-stock company, located in the city of Serdar in the Balkan velayat has produced 2 thousand 693 tons of high-quality yarn and carried out works worth over 27.5 million manats since the beginning of the current year. Currently, 2,688 tons of finished products with “Made in Turkmenistan” mark have been provided to consumers.
The textile complex was commissioned in 2004 and since then, high-quality textile products from selected cotton grown in different parts of the country are being produced in the facility equipped with machinery manufactured by Italian Marzoli, Vouk and Savio companies. The complex employs 645 people.
Balkandokma is located on an area of 20 thousand square meters, and its production is adjusted in accordance with the environmental safety requirements. Its modern production technology allows producing yarns of different sizes without knots and using them for the manufacture of different types of fabrics.
At present time, the company’s products are sent not only to domestic markets, but also to the markets of Turkey and European countries.
The annual production capacity of the complex is 11 thousand tons of cotton yarn from 13 thousand tons of cotton fiber.
