Lebap cement plant has increased its export volume this year. Last year, more than one-third of the total produсtion was exported to foreign markets. In January-June period, this figure was close to 45%.
Most exports go to neighboring Uzbekistan. Transportation of cement to Uzbekistan is carried out on the right bank of the Amu Darya, where the cement plant is located, through the Kelif-Qarshi-Termez railroad. Road transport is used in the direction of another Uzbek city – Bukhara.
Lebap cement plant also exports its products to neighboring Afghanistan via the Kerki – Ymamnazar – Akin railroad.
The modern enterprise is located in the Koytendag etrap of Lebap velayat, where number of mines with the gypsum, quartz sand and clay minerals are located. The plant was commissioned six years ago.
Lebap cement plant is spread over 60 hectares, and includes administrative buildings, storage facilities and other infrastructure facilities. Monitoring and control of the plant are carried out from the central console, where all data is transmitted via the single computer network.
The quality of cement is checked in three specialized laboratories equipped with modern technologies for chemical and spectral analyzes, and physical-technological researches.
The company produces Portland cement, grouting cement for the oil and gas industries and sulphate-resistant cement used in the construction of hydraulic structures.
