Dovardarchylyk livestock farm, located in the S.A.Niyazov etrap of Dashoguz velayat, owns about 60 thousand small ruminants and more than 1,800 camels.
According to Parahat Pashov, chief livestock technician, the farm has 89 herds of small ruminants and 22 herds of camels. They graze on the Atakuyi, Chayryly, Islam, Davali, Gundogar pastures of Karakum Desert.
“This year, the pastoralists of our farm achieved great success by exceeding the plan for obtaining offspring from sheep and camels,” said Parahat Pashov.
He stressed the important role of the sheep and camel breeding departments in the farm's achievements.
Pashov also said that clover and maize are grown on the pastures of farm.
“Currently, our main task is to prepare sufficient fodder base for the winter season, for which we have to stock 3,082 tons of feed crops,” he said.
The chief technician also said that they plan to create 16 new herds of lambs this year.
