Turkmen transport and logistics company Yuk Ulag Merkezi, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), has been awarded ISO 9001 Quality Management certification after successfully completing the required process, UIET reports in its press release.
The audit was conducted by the internationally recognized Certification Body CERT International (Slovakia). The internationally recognized ISO 9001 standard is based on quality management principles such as strong customer focus, top management engagement, the process approach and continual improvement.
Yuk Ulag Merkezi is the only logistics company in Turkmenistan to specialize in the transportation of non-standard, oversized dangerous goods in the CIS, Baltic and Persian Gulf countries. A relatively young company, operating since 2014, has a solid portfolio of completed orders.
One of the promising projects of the company is the transportation of goods within the Turkmenbashi-Baku-Batumi-Kherson transport and logistics corridor. The corresponding memorandum on the cooperation with a large group of companies and the opening of the corridor was signed by Yuk ulag merkezi on the sidelines of the First Caspian Economic Forum, UIET notes. In this project, the company is the operator of the corridor from Turkmen side.
