Turkmenistan will open Consulate General in the United Arab Emirates Emirates (Dubai), according to the Decree signed by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Friday.
According to the document, the President issued the Decree in order to further develop bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates and to effectively organize consular services provided to the population in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan “On Consular Offices of Turkmenistan Abroad.”
Dubai is a global city and business hub of the Middle East. It is also a major global transport hub for passengers and cargo freight services. In order to provide consular services in accordance with international standards, Ashgabat carried out thorough preparatory work to open Consulate General in the city.
