Ezber Daýhan Sells Million Vegetable Seedlings to Local Farmers
Ezber Daýhan growed about a million zoned varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers and bell peppers.

Ezber Daýhan farm enterprise, specializing in growing seedlings, sold about a million zoned varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers to vegetable growers of the Ahal velayat this year.

The agricultural producers operate greenhouses and 100 hectares of agricultural land. In greenhouses and in the open ground, farmers annually receive several crop yields and sell 100-120 tons of vegetables. State and private manufacturers working in the processing and canning segment acquire most of the products.

Entrepreneurs also provide services in the construction of greenhouses and their technical equipment. Another area of Ezber Daýhan's activity is plant breeding. Currently, the enterprise tests six tomato varieties and three varieties of hot and bell peppers in the plant nursery.

Ezber Daýhan, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, is the first in the country to grow Paulownia seedlings on an industrial scale. More than five hundred young trees grow on the experimental farm site in Ak Bugday etrap.

Breeding Paulownia is economically profitable: it is unpretentious and literally all parts of the tree - the trunk, leaves, and flowers are highly quoted on the world market. They are widely used in the manufacture of furniture and musical instruments, cooking, pharmaceuticals, perfumery, and biotechnologies.
