Buenos Aires hosted political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Argentine Republic on Thursday.
Deputy Foreign Minister Vepa Khadzhiev headed the Turkmen delegation in the meeting with the delegation of Argentina, which was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Gustavo Rudolfo Zlauvinen.
The parties discussed in detail the key aspects of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The parties also underlined the importance of bilateral visits, which contribute to the further development of partnership.
Turkmen and Argentinian officials noted the need for further development of trade and economic relations. In this context, the diplomats emphasized the need to identify priority areas of cooperation by establishing systematic contacts between the business circles of the two countries to expand trade and economic cooperation and increase trade.
The delegations also discussed the possibility of developing cooperation in the field of agriculture, energy, transport and tourism, as well as issues of expanding cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
