Seydi Oil Refinery of Turkmenistan's Lebap velayat produced over 373.3 thousand tons of oil products over the past 9 months of this year. The plant fulfilled the production plan by 114,1%.
In addition to petroleum products, the refinery exported over 8,1 thousand tons of road bitumen.
The plant, by processing about 426.9 thousand tons of raw materials for the corresponding period, plans to increase the export volume to 10 thousand tons by the end of the year.
The catalytic reforming unit, commissioned at the refinery in May 2017 with the participation of US and UAE companies, led to the start of high-octane gasoline production.
The refinery also produces light gasoline and liquefied gas that is used in food production, by processing distilled gas. American Westport Trading Europe Limited, with the participation of Turkmen specialists, commissioned the production unit. The same company built a unit in the structure of the plant for the production of road bitumen with an annual capacity of 37.2 thousand tons in 2015.
