Production in Lebap’s First Sock Mill Reaches 900 Thousand Pairs
The private enterprise manufactures 150-220 pairs of both winter and spring socks, of sizes 24-44, for women and men per day.

Lebap velayat’s Turkmenabat sock factory produced about 900 thousand pairs since the beginning of the year.

Entrepreneur Atamyrat Jumakulyyev, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, launched the velayat’s first sock factory in 2017.

The private enterprise manufactures 150-220 pairs of both winter and spring socks, of sizes 24-44, for women and men per day.

The socks contain 75% pure cotton, along with elastic materials such as spandex and elastane.

The factory is equipped with modern production machinery imported from China and Italy.

Sock production in Turkmenistan by private entrepreneurs is also conducted in the Balkan velayat. Balkanabat city’s Batly Gadam private enterprise, commissioned in 2018, produces about 50 thousand pairs of socks per day.
