Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Turkmenistan Mubarak Abdurrahman Mubarak Al-Nasr.
The parties noted with satisfaction the intensive development of the dialogue between the two countries, based on the principles of equality and mutual respect. The sides discussed key issues of cooperation between the two countries in the political-diplomatic, economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The diplomats also discussed the possibilities of implementing joint projects in the trade and economic sphere.
The parties emphasized the important role of the joint Turkmen-Qatari Intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic cooperation and voiced proposals on the creation of trading houses, organization of exhibitions and fairs.
The Qatari Ambassador has held a meeting with the Turkmen Foreign Minister on November 13.
