Kämil Ymarat private company will construct the new administrative building of the Scientific and Research Institute of Seismic Construction of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed on Tuesday the corresponding Decree for the design and construction of the administrative building with landscaping adjacent territory.
According to the Decree, the company will also construct the building’s external electricity, gas and water supply systems, as well as its sewage system.
Scientific and Research Institute of Seismic Construction monitors seismic processes, creates an information base for seismic hazard assessment; compilation of maps of seismic zoning and micro-zoning of seismically dangerous zones on the territory of Turkmenistan; carrying out research work on earthquake-resistant construction; development of relevant regulatory documents in the earthquake-resistant construction industry; monitoring the implementation of normative documentation for earthquake-resistant safety; carries out international cooperation in the field of earthquake engineering and seismology.
Kämil Ymarat is instructed to begin construction work in January 2020 and to hand over the facility with full readiness for operation in September 2021, according to the document.
