Şawat Produces Dairy Products Worth Nearly 6 Million Manats
For the production of 20 types of products under the Şawat trademark, the company processes 15 tons of milk daily.

Şawat Open Joint-Stock Company, which produces dairy products in Dashoguz city in the northern Turkmenistan, manufactured food products worth nearly 6 million manats in 2019, exceeding the growth rate in comparison with 2018 by 131%.

For the production of 20 types of products under the Şawat trademark, the company processes 15 tons of milk daily, which is purchased on a contractual basis from farm associations, as well as from private livestock breeders.

Şawat enterprise actively participates in exhibitions held by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, familiarizing the guests with its products, including sour cream, kefir, cheese, cottage cheese, and butter.

The company was launched in Dashoguz in 1978. Yupek Yoly Gurlushyk private enterprise acquired 100% of shares of the company in an investment tender in 2014. As a result of privatization, the new modern production facility was also constructed and began operation.
