HIL Standart Economic Society’s Laboratory Center has received ISO/IEC 17025:2017 international accreditation.
ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is the international reference for laboratories carrying out calibration and testing activities around the world.
The first private sector food safety laboratory received the accreditation following an independent evaluation process by Latvian National Accreditation Bureau State Agency.
A private laboratory was created on the initiative of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and is the first structure in this segment in the country. Its main task is the analysis of food products in accordance with state and international standards.
In accordance with international standards, the laboratory center is equipped with modern high-tech equipment, which allows laboratory specialists to successfully conduct a wide range of microbiological and physico-chemical studies.
Obtaining international accreditation will allow increasing volume of export of domestic food products and contribute to the further realization of the economic potential of Turkmenistan.
HIL Standart’s laboratory center for food safety expertise was one of the first in Turkmenistan to be awarded with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 international standard.
