First Turkmen Sunflower Oil Producer to Open Günaý Market
Gündogar Akymy produces sunflower oil packed in 1-liter and 5-liter plastic bottles and flour packed in paper bags with a net weight of 1 and 2 kilograms.

Gündogar Akymy Economic Society, which launched the production of Günaý sunflower oils, plans to open a Günaý market in Ashgabat.

In an interview with Business Turkmenistan, the Deputy Director of the enterprise for Financial Affairs Nyazik Avasyan said that in the future, Gündogar Akymy intends to export its products.

“At present, along with the production of sunflower oil under the Günaý trademark, our company also produces flour products under the Gündogaryň Bereketi trademark,” Avasyan noted. “Gündogar Akymy is one of the first enterprises to establish feed production in Turkmenistan.”

The company produces sunflower oil packed in 1-liter and 5-liter plastic bottles and flour packed in paper bags with a net weight of 1 and 2 kilograms.

The factory is equipped modern production technologies of China’s Huatai and Turkey’s Sagbil companies.

The company is waiting for the state to allocate a ​​6-thousand hectare land in the Ahal velayat’s Sarahs etrap, where entrepreneurs plan to produce raw material of the enterprise.

Gündogar Akymy Economic Society, founded in 2018, produces mainly 3 types of products, feed, flour and sunflower oil. The company annually produces 30 thousand tons of feed, 20 thousand tons of flour and 7.2 thousand tons of sunflower oil.
