The enterprise for the production of flour and pasta in Mary velayat’s Turkmengala etrap in the southeastern Turkmenistan last year produced around 39 thousand tons of flour of high, first and second grades.
In 2019, the enterprise also produced over 12 thousand tons of bran, about 1.5 thousand tons of bread and bakery products. In monetary terms, the company delivered products worth more than 32 million manats last year.
The plant in Turkmengala has the capacity to produce 40 thousand tons of flour and 14 thousand tons of pasta each year. The enterprise produces 16 types of pasta.
The plant was opened in 2007 is equipped with modern production machinery. The enterprise currently employs 330 people working in three shifts.
More than 1.6 million tons of wheat were harvested in Turkmenistan last year. In Mary velayat, over 380 thousand tons of grain were harvested and delivered to the velayat’s enterprises for processing.
