Moscow hosted on March 13 the International Economic Forum CIS+WORLD and the 85th meeting of the CIS Economic Council, according to the CIS Internet portal.
The forum at the World Trade Center gathered delegates from the CIS member countries, the Eurasian Economic Commission, the SCO, banking institutions, the tourism industry, as well as the IT sector.
The event was held in three main directions:
- Network platforms of international cooperation in the industry of the CIS countries;
- Ensuring and strengthening financial stability;
- Innovation in integration.
The Tourism Congress CIS+WORLD 2020, which brought together representatives of all six continents, was also held on the sidelines of the forum.
During the congress, the representative of the Turkmen delegation, adviser to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia Serdar Durdyev emphasized the growing influence of tourism initiatives in the CIS countries, adding that the countries of Central Asia are becoming more and more attractive for tourists.
Congress participants also discussed the development of other modern types of tourism, such as culinary, educational, musical and even bathing.
The 86th meeting of the CIS Economic Council will take place in June 19 in Moscow.
