USAID Launches Distance Consultations for Turkmen Agricultural Exporters
The provision of distance consultations on fruit and vegetable exports will continue until October 30.

The USAID Central Asia Competitiveness, Trade, and Job Creation (CTJ) project on Wednesday started providing distance consultations on fruit and vegetable exports for producers and exporters of Turkmenistan, the USAID said in a press release.

Consultations will be held on the following topics:

  • Export promotion tools;
  • Export of fruits and vegetables to Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia;
  • Preparation for exhibitions and the development of promotional materials to promote exports;
  • Negotiation skills;Sorting and packaging (commercial standards);
  • Proper harvesting and cold storage for export;
  • Phytosanitary requirements of countries importing fruits and vegetables;
  • Cooperation of producers of fruits and vegetables with modern retail network of the CIS countries.

The provision of distance consultations on export will continue until October 30.

The goal of the USAID (CTJ) project is to facilitate trade and employment in horticulture, tourism, transport and logistics across the five Central Asian economies.
